Job spec: A lovely family of four based in Chinley are seeking a warm, engaging and experienced Nanny to join their family for one day per week, caring for their two children aged 3 and 2 years old. The family currently have a Nanny for four days per week, who highly recommends the family and has created a lovely, established routine with the children.

This is a childcare-focused role, with child-related duties such as laundry, meal preparation and supporting mealtimes. The family are looking for someone who will provide a fun, stimulating and nurturing day for the children, planning age-appropriate activities and experiences. This could include attending local classes, arranging playdates with children of a similar age and enjoying plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and exploration.

The family take a thoughtful approach to their children’s development and would love a Nanny who enjoys incorporating early learning into everyday activities, including phonics, numbers, shapes and other age-appropriate academic activities. The Nanny will encourage the children to become increasingly independent, supporting them with skills such as toileting and using cutlery, while also encouraging them to tidy away after activities and take pride in helping around the home. The children do not have screen time, so the family are looking for someone who is creative and confident in keeping two young children happily engaged throughout the day.

As the children get older, they will be working towards school entrance examinations, so a Nanny who is confident supporting their early learning and who has an interest in helping prepare them for this stage would be particularly well suited to the role.

The ideal candidate will be warm, proactive, organised and genuinely passionate about early years development, with the confidence to take the lead and create an enjoyable, structured and stimulating day for both children.

Job spec: A lovely family based in Hale is seeking a warm, nurturing and responsible Nanny to care for their three children, aged 7 years, 5 years and 12 months. The role will predominantly focus on their youngest child, providing attentive, engaging and nurturing care throughout the day.

The Nanny will be responsible for preparing healthy meals and snacks for the youngest child and supporting her with mealtimes, as well as planning age-appropriate activities and getting out and about locally. This could include attending baby classes, trips to the park, walks and other suitable activities to keep her happy, stimulated and engaged. The role will also include light housekeeping duties relating to the children, such as keeping their spaces tidy and managing their laundry where required.

There will also be occasional responsibility for the older two children, including school drop-offs and collections, so the family are looking for someone who is confident caring for children of different ages and happy to adapt to the needs of the whole family when required.
