Job title: Full time Nanny Housekeeper

Location: Wilmslow

Hours: 39 hours per week

Job spec: A lovely family of three, soon to become five, is seeking an experienced, punctual, professional, creative and energetic nanny to become a valued part of their growing household. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing candidate with a great sense of humour, plenty of initiative and a genuine passion for childcare to support the family during an exciting new chapter as they prepare to welcome twins in August 2026.

The family currently have a happy and active two-year-old daughter and place great importance on maintaining a consistent routine, clear boundaries and positive communication. They are very hands-on parents who encourage independence, creativity and learning through play. Screen time is not used for entertainment; instead, they enjoy engaging their daughter through imaginative play, outdoor adventures, garden activities and trips to the park, helping to develop her confidence, key skills and sense of fun.

The ideal nanny will be proactive, organised and highly reliable, with a positive “can do” attitude and the ability to think ahead. A naturally active person who enjoys spending time outdoors will thrive in this role, whether that involves muddy play in the garden, walks to the park or planning stimulating activities for the children. Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be highly beneficial to help support the children’s development and educational milestones in a fun and engaging way. A second language would also be highly welcomed by the family.

Duties will include preparing healthy snacks and nutritious family meals, feeding the children, supporting bath and bedtime routines, caring for and nurturing the twins, encouraging motor skill development and planning age-appropriate educational activities and games. The nanny will also be responsible for maintaining tidy and organised play spaces, cleaning and rotating toys where necessary, and ensuring the kitchen and children’s areas are left clean after use. Nursery drop-offs and collections for the toddler twice a week will also form part of the role, therefore a confident driver with a full clean driving licence and business use insurance is essential.

The family are looking for someone who communicates openly and confidently with parents regarding the children’s wellbeing, routines and development. During quieter periods, such as nap times, assistance with light household duties related to the family and children will be appreciated, including loading and unloading the dishwasher, cleaning bottles, helping with the weekly food shop, and managing family laundry including washing, drying, folding and putting clothes away.

This role requires someone with plenty of energy, warmth and initiative who can provide genuine support to the family as they transition from one child to three. The nanny must be confident working both alongside the parents and on a sole charge basis as required, adapting easily to the family’s changing needs and routines. Flexibility for occasional additional babysitting or extra hours will be appreciated, with all additional hours paid.

The successful candidate must be a professional nanny with previous experience caring for young children and babies, hold appropriate nanny insurance, and take pride in providing exceptional childcare within a private household. The family value their privacy and would expect their nanny to always be professional, respectful, discreet and mindful of confidentiality within the home.

In return, they will become an important and valued part of a kind, welcoming family who are looking for long-term support and commitment.

Job title: Full time Housekeeper/Nanny

Location: Knutsford

Hours: 40 hours per week

Job spec: A welcoming family based in Knutsford, currently a family of three and soon to be four, are looking for an organised, proactive and professional Housekeeper/Nanny to join them from summer 2026. The family have a happy and energetic 3.5-year-old child, with a new baby due in September 2026.

This is a varied role combining both housekeeping and childcare responsibilities, with an approximate 60/40 split between the two, alongside occasional dog care. The family are seeking someone who is flexible, hands-on and confident managing a busy household while also providing attentive and nurturing childcare support.

Housekeeping duties will include maintaining the smooth day-to-day running of the home through daily household resets, making beds, managing family laundry, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and ensuring the home remains tidy and always welcoming. On a weekly basis, responsibilities will include grocery shopping, visiting local suppliers such as the butcher, completing a thorough household clean, changing bed linen, preparing family meals using provided recipes, and managing washing and ironing. Additional monthly duties will include reorganising cupboards, vacuuming and cleaning furniture, sweeping outdoor areas and assisting with occasional deeper cleaning tasks such as oven cleaning and other ad hoc household jobs as required.

The family’s eldest child currently attends nursery each day, therefore support will mainly be needed before and after nursery hours, with occasional daytime care when required. Following the arrival of the new baby, the role will naturally evolve to include more support with both children. In addition, the family would appreciate support on a Friday evening each week, with the successful candidate helping with the children’s evening routine, putting them to bed and caring for them until approximately 9pm.

The family also have a very friendly seven-year-old dog named Pablo. He is usually walked each morning and often accompanies the parents to the office, however on occasions when he remains at home, the successful candidate would be expected to provide company for him and assist with a short afternoon walk. Candidates who would be happy to care for Pablo while the family are away would be highly valued.

The family plan to work collaboratively with a monthly calendar and weekly priorities to ensure flexibility within the role. Childcare responsibilities will always take precedence when needed, with housekeeping tasks adjusted accordingly. As the family travel both for work and leisure, there may also be future opportunities for the successful candidate to accompany them on trips or provide occasional overnight care for the children during shorter periods away.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and adaptable candidate seeking a long-term role within a warm and appreciative family environment.
