Sole charge Nanny/Housekeeper Heaton Mersey - 1.30pm - 6pm 3 afternoons a week.

A busy family of 5 are looking for a fun and engaging Nanny/Housekeeper to work 3 afternoons per week  from 1.30 til 6pm.  The parents are flexible with the days, however ideally the Nanny would be able to work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  

 

The Nanny would ideally start work at 1.30pm to help with the laundry and prepare an evening meal, then collect 2 of the children from school (aged 5 and 8) and walk home with them.  The older child will come home himself (aged 11).  Once home, the Nanny would be required to oversee the children’s homework, serve dinner and clean up the kitchen.

 

The family would like the Nanny to have some flexibility regarding a finish time.  Normally it will be around 6pm, however, some babysitting might be required which would be in addition to the standard hours.

 

The Nanny would ideally be fun and engaging with the children and is equally confident with the older child , whilst remaining playful with the 5 year old.

 

Start date: End August/ Beginning September

Salary: £13 gross per hour.

Sole Charge Nanny/Housekeeper - Hale - Monday and alternate Tuesdays 7am - 7pm

A professional family of 5 are looking for a Nanny/Housekeeper in Hale.  The children are aged 11, 10 and 6 years old and all go to school locally in Altrincham.  The nanny will be required to help children get breakfast, assist in getting them ready for school, and take them to school by car, so a driver is essential.

 

During the school day, help with housekeeping will be required  such as: washing, ironing, keeping the house generally tidy and clean, preparing a meal for the children for after school.

 

At the end of the school day,  collect the children from school, assist if needed with homework, prepare and serve them evening meal, and prepare for next school day (getting clothes ready, packed lunches if needed etc)

 

The hours are as follows:

Monday every week 07:00 - 19:00, 

Tuesday alternate weeks 07:00 - 19:00 (on week of 7th Sept, 21st Sept etc)

Total hours 18 per week averaged out over the year.

The family would like the flexibility if possible with  occasional extra hours on other days as ad hocs, but these vary (both parents are doctors and their rotas will vary with oncalls etc) and these extra hours would be offered to the nanny. This would not be a requirement, but flexibility to help with this would be desired.

 

Start date: 6th Sept 2021

Salary: £11-£12 per hour depending on experience.

Sole Charge Nanny - Croft  (various hours).

A lovely family requires a Nanny for two boys aged 11yrs and 6 yrs to become part of a busy team. The right candidate will be a confident, energetic, experienced, firm but fair nanny who has lots of common sense with great organisation skills, a good sense of humour and most importantly have lots of patience and love for the two boys. The family already employs a housekeeper, so you would be required to work as a team with her to complete the necessary tasks. 

  • Cooking for the family (when required)  

  • Cleaning/hoovering

  • Taking care of the washing

  • Sorting out the dishwasher

  • Menu planning and shopping

  • Any errands 

Hours required are:

 

Monday 12.30 - 7.30 pm

Tuesday 1 - 7pm

Wednesday 1.30 - 7.30pm

Thursday 12.30 - 7.30pm

Friday 12.30 - 7.30pm

 

During school holidays the hours will be Monday - Friday 8/10am until 6.30/7pm depending on need – it just requires some flexibility 

 

If the nanny needs more hours term time, I am happy to make every day 12.30 -7.30pm

The Nanny must be a confident driver (school is 30 mins away) and happy to drive to various clubs etc. The Family  wants someone to take control and do the thinking but also works with mum to ensure a lovely and organised environment for the children.

Duties – standard nanny caring role

  • Taking the children to clubs, organising uniforms and equipment 

  • Organising wardrobes, buying clothes/shoes

  • Personal care – making sure J is showered and washed! C still needs help and likes to play in the bath

  • Taking to the dentist 

  • Organising holiday packing/unpacking for the kids

  • Picking up from school, sorting bags, snacks, water – checking homework, supervising homework

Dad works from home but has an office in the garden, Mum is a mixture – home and office.

There will be support 2-3 nights a week 4-8 from the previous nanny  to assist when the boys need to go in different directions!

We have a team at Hill Top, Alice the stable manager helps do school drop offs and we also have a gardener Jon who has worked here for 5 years. We would like someone who is a team player

As the boys are of different ages, they both have different interests, therefore the Nanny should be able to adapt to assist the boys.  The one thing they have in common is they are both very active and enjoy being outside, so a love of the outdoors would be a huge advantage.

Family have a cottage in Whitby, so the ability to travel there is an advantage.

 

The Nanny is required:

  • to have plenty of experience

  • Hold a current first aid certificate ( or willing to complete a course)

  • Have a DBS on the update service ( or willing to get one done, which I can help with).

Salary: £12 gross an hour.

Sole Charge Nanny - Wednesday 7am - 6pm M23 area.

A family of 4 require a Nanny for one day a week - Wednesday 7am til 6pm for 2 children. G aged 4 (starting reception at local primary school walking distance) in September, G aged 12 months – at home. We do have a nanny 4 days a week already who would be happy to chat about the job.

Parents are both doctors so require reliability and excellent time keeping in the mornings. Both will need to leave the house on time to facilitate operating lists/outpatient clinics etc.

They do require some flexibility at the end of the day (able to stay longer if they are delayed by complicated operations etc). They do compensate for over time with time off in lieu or if that is not possible, pay at the usual rate.

Duties would involve: giving breakfast to both children, getting G4 ready for school, doing school drop-off and pick-up, attending baby groups/park with G12mths, reading stories to G4, giving children their evening meal & help with bath time on occasion.

Sometimes, we would ask to cook a family meal for the evening but we often do our own cooking too

Some light housework such as putting on/emptying dishwasher/putting on washing/tumble drier would be required, they do have a cleaner for everything else.

 

First aid training is required and experience with early years curriculum would be desired.

DBS on the update service is required

£11 gross an hour

Lower Withington - 7am – 10am & 3.30pm – 7pm during school term time but hours would need to be flexible during the school holidays.

A Nanny is required for a young, friendly family with two boys aged 6 and 4 years old.  The family are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic live in or live out nanny in Lower Withington starting as soon as possible but by end of August at the latest. 

 

Responsibilities include, helping out before and after school, taking the boys to and from school (the school is 10 mins away), light cooking and housekeeping with two nights of babysitting per week on top. 

 

Hours would be 7am – 10am & 3.30pm – 7pm during school term time but hours would need to be flexible during the school holidays. The Nanny would also be required to go on holiday with the family twice a year. 

 

An additional 7 hours a week for housekeeping could also be offered for more hours. 

 

Must have previous childcare experience and own a car. 

Salary - £11 per hour
