Sole charge part time Nanny - Didsbury - 13.5 hours per week.

A lovely family in Didsbury are seeking a part time Nanny who is creative and caring, to look after their 2 girls, aged 4 and 8, three afternoons a week. The required days and hours are: 2.00pm-6.30pm Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; possibly with extra hours during the school holidays.
Before collecting the children from school, the Nanny would be required to prepare meals for the children. Typical meals include pasta with homemade sauce, risotto and quiche with potatoes and vegetables. Parents will plan the meals and make sure they have all the ingredients, but you will need to be confident in the kitchen and able to maintain excellent standards of food hygiene.

Light domestic duties would also be expected, for example tidying the downstairs of the house and washing up after the children’s evening meal. The family are keen for the children to learn to look after themselves so we’d like someone who will encourage them to tidy up their toys before dinner time at 5pm.

The children’s school is a short walk away, typically taking about 20 Minutes. If the weather is nice the girls sometimes play in the park after school or go to the playground. The children also love to play games, paint, jigsaws, read books etc so this would also be an advantage and a keen afterschool activity at home.

The family would want a long-term Nanny, to feel part of the family and build a great relationship with the children.

Must have:

DBS on the update service,

First aid certificate within the last 3 years,

Minimum 3 year’s experience working with children

Full clean driving licence would be an advantage.

Salary: Negotiable for the right person.
