Sole charge/proxy parent role – Wilmslow - Varying hours with a set annual salary

Would potentially suit a professional childcare worker looking for their first Nanny role.

This is a unique role to support a family of 3, who have a lovely daughter aged 9.

Dad works away and Mum has no support locally for when she needs childcare.

In a nutshell, this is more of a big sister role just for when Mum is out/away, with at least a week’s notice of the hours required, but you would be paid an annual salary regardless.  Mum occasionally needs to go away with work, or attend meetings, so the Nanny would be required to step in as a proxy parent or be there to help with before and after school hours. When Mum is around and at home, the Nanny wouldn’t be required to work (still paid) The hours needed will change depending on the circumstances, some weeks you won’t be needed at all, others it might be 20 hours over the week.

When the Nanny is away with the family, it could be for a couple of weeks at a time.

The family have a holiday home in Mallorca, so the Nanny would be required to accompany them there throughout the year.

The most important part of this position is to become and feel part of family, be easy going and able to adapt to changes in schedule and routine.

Must have:

DBS on the update service (or happy to apply through the agency)

First aid within the last 3 years

Minimum 3 years childcare experience

Full UK clean driving licence

Must like dogs

Must be happy to stay overnight and accompany the family on holiday.

Happy to sign an NDA

Start date: July/August 2022

Salary: £23,000 with a pay review after 6 months

Mothers help/Nanny – Mobberley – 24 hours per week

A family are requiring ‘an extra pair of hands’ to assist at the busiest time of their day.  Mum is expecting baby number 2 in early July and their son will be 20 months old. Dad works in London Monday - Thursday, so they’re looking for someone to support their family in the mornings and evenings when Dad is not here. Essentially, they are hoping for someone who can be the ‘second pair of hands’ during the morning and evening routine.

The Nanny would have good experience caring for young toddlers and babies, be energetic, enthusiastic and fun-loving who will contribute to the positive, relaxed but upbeat atmosphere in the home.

Their Son goes to nursery on a Monday and Wednesday and is with Grandparents on a Tuesday and Thursday, so his morning involves getting up, ready, breakfast and out of the house to start his day.

On his nursery days, Mum will typically do the drop off and pick up. This is a 45 minute round trip each way, so they’re looking for someone to be at home and care for the baby during this time. In the evening, they are looking for support with dinner, bath time and bedtime.

Hours:

Monday – 7am – 10am and 4pm – 8pm

Tuesday – 7am – 10am and 4pm – 8pm

Wednesday – 7am – 10am and 4pm – 8pm

Thursday – 7am – 10am

These are the ideal hours, but there is some flexibility.

Must have:

DBS on the update service (or happy to apply through the agency)]

12 hour Paediatric first aid within the last 3 years

Minimum 5 years experience with children, especially babies and toddlers

Full UK driving licence (potential use of a work car)

Start date: August 2022

Salary: £15 gross per hour.
