Job title: Shared care Nanny

Job spec: A family of 5 in Alderley Edge are seeking an extra pair of hands to assist with the 3 children aged 10, 8 and newborn.  The perfect candidate will be calm, caring, and organised.

The main role will be to care for the newborn baby once the older children are home from school. Before the children come home from school, meal prep and helping with the children’s laundry will be required.  Once the children are home, Mum will be mainly focussing on the 8 year old who has autism, therefore the Nanny will be mainly caring for the newborn - helping to settle baby after a feed, helping to establish a routine, and assisting with the older 2 children at mealtimes.

The nanny would need to feel relaxed and able to develop a good rapport with all of the children.

Days and hours required:

The hours are flexible, but ideally would be as follows:

Monday – 2pm – 7pm

Tuesday – 2pm – 7pm

Wednesday – 2pm – 7pm

Thursday – 2pm – 7pm

3 or 4 afternoons would be considered.

Every other Saturday mornings would be a bonus - 9am - 1pm

12 hour paediatric first aid certificate within the last 3 years

Minimum 3 years experience with similar age children

Full, clean UK driving licence

Location: Wilmslow

Hours: 14 hour per week over 2 days

Job spec: A family of 3 in Wilmslow are seeking a caring, energetic, organised, and reliable nanny to care for their child.  She will be 1 year old and loves the outdoors and music.  The ideal candidate would be a lover of being outdoors, happy to take the little one to music and ballet classes, days out to national trust parks, organise arts and crafts at home and enjoy playing at home and reading books as well as age related educational activities to ensure she is meeting her milestones.  Guidance on potty training, weaning and nutrition would be an advantage.

Other roles would include meal preparation, helping with the child’s laundry, ensuring the play areas are clean and tidy at the end of the day.

Both parents work from home, therefore they would love the nanny to feel comfortable to all have lunch together when their work diary allows.

As the little girl will be learning French at Nursery, a knowledge of the language would be desirable.

Days and hours required:

Tuesday – 9am – 4pm

Wednesday – 10am – 5pm

From November 2024, the days will change to Monday and Friday.

Job title: Nanny/Housekeeper

Location: Altrincham

Hours: 20 hours during term time and 25 hours in school holidays (pay can be averaged out over the year)

Job spec: A busy family in Altrincham are seeking a proactive, organised, and caring Nanny/Housekeeper to assist with the care of their 2 children aged 5 and 7 years old. 

As the children attend full time education, the role during the day will be housekeeping - batch cooking meals (a proactive meal planner would be amazing, meals cooked from scratch), changing the beds, tidying the playroom, light cleaning – hoovering, wiping the kitchen surfaces, ironing, and laundry.

Other roles will be to get the children up, breakfast and take them to school, collect them from school and help with homework, read stories, and organise bath time.

During the school holidays, the children would love days out such as: baking (flapjack is a firm favourite), Go Ape, farms, bowling, soft play, museums, parks etc.

Days and hours required:

Term time (35 weeks a year):

Wednesday 7 am - 7.30pm and Friday 7am -9am and 2.30- 7.30pm

(there is the option of just 7am – 9am on the Friday too)

School holidays (17 weeks a year):

Wednesday 7am -7.30pm and Friday 7am-7.30pm
