Date posted: 6th March 2026

Job title: Full time Nanny

Location: Sandbach (moving to South Manchester area later in the year)

Hours: 30 hours

Job spec: A family of three, soon to become four, are seeking a full-time Nanny who is caring, highly experienced and proactive to care for their two-year-old and a newborn due in June 2026. The family currently live in Singapore but will be relocating back to the UK. They will initially be based in Sandbach before moving later in the year to the Didsbury, The Heatons or Chorlton-cum-Hardy area.

The role will begin as a mixture of sole charge and shared care while Mum is on maternity leave. Once Mum returns to work, the position will become primarily sole charge. The Nanny will be responsible for organising engaging, age-appropriate activities both at home and within the local community to support the children’s development and routine.

While the children have a nap, the Nanny will also be expected to assist with light household duties related to the children. These will include children’s laundry, meal preparation, keeping the areas used during the day clean and tidy, and ensuring that the children’s bedrooms and playroom remain organised.

The family would be open to offering the role on a temporary basis for a Nanny who may not wish to relocate with them when they move later in the year. However, their preference is to find a permanent Nanny who would be happy to work with the family initially in Sandbach and later in their new home in the South Manchester area.
