Sole charge Nanny - Eccleshall - 18 hours during term time and 36 hours during school holidays.
A Nanny is required to help a family on a permanent basis in Eccleshall. The family have 2 children aged 4 and 2 years old.
The hours required are (term-time):
Monday – 3pm – 6pm
Tuesday – 3pm – 6pm
Wednesday – 3pm – 6pm
Thursday – 9am – 6pm
The hours required in school holidays are:
Monday – Thursday - 8.30am – 5.30pm
Additional hours during termtime are available to help with housekeeping if required.
The role will consist of collection from school and Nursery in Newport and bringing home ready for some age-appropriate crafts, a little homework, games, outdoor play etc before dinner. On a Thursday, there will be a full day of care for the little 2-year-old. She tends to do a playgroup such as swimming or ballet and so as the Nanny, you would need to be able to take her to this.
During school holidays, there will be 4 full days needed for both children. They both love to be outdoors, have fun, and be entertained with various activities.
The family live rural lives and want someone who can embrace this lifestyle with plenty of energy and enthusiasm for entertaining the children.
If someone requires more hours during the week, we can look at additional housework duties in term time to top up the hours but will discuss on a 1-2-1 basis.
As the home is rural, driving is necessary and it needs to be comfortable with country way of life, animals and driving down country lanes.
Meal prep will be minimal as Mum can leave instructions on warming things up unless you’re a very confident cook and provider of healthy meals
The family have one dog (lab x) and some chickens and a farm cat.
DBS on the update service (or ability to apply through the agency).
Paediatric first aid within the last 3 years,
Minimum 3 years childcare experience with excellent references,
Full UK driving licence.
